#13: WW2 Captain America
This is my very first commission that goes to BaKeS on the Mighty Muggs Forum. He sports a sculpted helmet and shield as well as an AK-47. The backpack and straps are all hand-sewn and made from duck cloth. He took about 3 weeks to make from start to finish (with distractions from school). I love how he turned out! ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this custom WWII Cap!!! XD I have to ask one important question though, How did U make the Helmet and Shield??
ReplyDeleteEpoxie putty. I used a round shield as a backing and sanded it until I got the right shape. The helmet was from molding a head shape from a test Mugg then adding more epoxie until I got the right shape
ReplyDeleteOh cool! Makes sense with the shield. I don't have a Cap MM so Im gonna have to use a dowel to make the handles for the Shield and Weapons.
